Newcomers To Hospitality Industry Benefit From BII Opportunity
08-Dec-2008
Anyone thinking about starting a career in the licensed hospitality industry would be mad to miss out on the opportunities presented by a new “undergraduate” category of membership launched by BII, the professional body for the licensed retail sector.
The new category is targeted at entrants to the industry who have yet to take their national certificate for personal licence holders (NCPLH). Previously, they would have been unable to join BII without relevant qualifications or experience.
BII recognises that anyone beginning a career in this exciting industry will want to take advantage of the many benefits that BII members enjoy and tap in to the support, information and resources on offer from the sector’s professional body.
For 12 months, undergraduates will receive the following BII support services:
- Monthly copies of BII’s members’ magazine BIIBUSINESS, full of excellent hints and tips, success stories, and articles on how to improve your skills and increase profits
- 24/7 access to a FREE legal helpline, for both business and personal matters
- Access to a FREE licensing helpline for all queries relating to licence applications
- Discounted purchasing and excellent credit and debit card rates
- Free employment documents, contracts of employment, policies and procedures
They will then be offered the chance to upgrade to full membership, subject to eligibility.
Undergraduates are not required to pay a joining fee and annual membership subscription costs are as follows:
-
Direct Debit - £39 + VAT
-
Cash/Credit Card - £49 + VAT
