BII holds event at England’s largest vineyard
The British Institute of Innkeeping’s (BII) Southern Region is holding a seminar for members and newcomers to the industry. The aim of the day is to provide an update on new legislation along with some valuable advice for licensees. It will take place at Denbies Wine Estates, Dorking on June 19, 2002.
Gerry Dolan of Customs and Excise will open the day with a talk on how local businesses can help crack down on bootleg booze and the implications for licensees if they fall foul of the law. He will be followed by Miriam Howell from Percy Fox who will discuss with delegates how to create the perfect wine list for their pub to promote their wines and attract more customers.
The final session will be on motivation. Clinton Horn of Hallmarks Business Development will identify ten steps to motivating staff and discuss with guests how these ten simple tips will pay dividends once applied to their business.
Guests will then have to opportunity to relax and socialise over a buffet lunch. There is an optional tour and tasting session of the vineyard for £6.25, which you can book, when you reserve your place.
