BII appoints HR Manager
Julie Johnson will be joining The British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) as HR manager on July 1, 2002. Julie’s current role is at Glass’s Information Services as HR advisor, where she has been since 2000.
Julie brings with her a vast experience in HR and Personnel as well as a diploma in employment law and personnel practice. Her remit includes keeping the BII’s staff on track through training and development, with her main objective to achieve the Investors in People, Recruitment and Training module. She will be replacing Gilly Turner, who recently left the BII to move to Cornwall.
Julie said: “ I am looking forward to joining the team at Camberley and to continue the valuable contribution that my predecessor made to the company and it’s members. The BII’s staff base has expanded fairly rapidly over the last few years and achieved recognition by Investors in People, which I seek to expand yet further.”
Julie is 27 and lives in Woking. ends]
