Build trade and increase profits with the
BII’s Thames Valley Region
The BII’s Thames Valley Region is hosting a networking event with the aim of providing local licensees with some valuable trade building advice. The seminar will take place on Wednesday June 12, 2002 at the Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire.
Chris Emmel, commercial director of Laurel Pub Company and Ralph Wright, senior buyer; will open the seminar with a discussion on how licensees can improve their negotiation skills and get the best from the buyer-supplier relationship.
Phil Dixon CMBII and award winning licensee Bill Kendrick FBII will then take the stage, on behalf of Grey Archer. Patrick Dardis, business development and marketing director at Grey Archer said: “We are delighted to be supporting the BII at its regional events and this day at Silverstone looks set to provide valuable advice for licensees. The event will focus on trade building for local licensees and the benefits of using the PC as a marketing tool to raise revenue and cut costs.”
James Ewan from PLS Training will then host a session on how to improve networking skills, including how to initiate conversation and create rapport with all those that make a contribution to the licensed retailing industry.
Guests then have the opportunity to relax and socialise over a two-course lunch and an optional go-karting experience. Tickets for the event cost £20. There will be an additional charge of £26.00 per person for those wishing to take part in the go-karting. To book your place, please call Nicola Saunders at the BII on 01276 417823 or by e-mail nicola@bii.org. ends] …/more over -2-
