BII South West Region provides Golden Jubilee ideas for local licensees

The British Institute of Innkeeping’s (BII) South West Region is to host an event with great business-building ideas for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee this spring. This networking day is taking place at the China Fleet Country Club, Saltash, on Wednesday April 10, 2002.

Bruno Peek OBE, of the Golden Jubilee Summer Party will discuss the opportunities available to local licensees for celebrations in their pubs and how they can build more trade over the Golden Jubilee weekend. He will be followed by Toundjel Mahmout, of the Race Relations Employment Advisory Service, who will explain to delegates their legal obligation to practise good equal opportunities, and the consequences of falling foul of the law.

The event will also encompass the South West Region’s Annual General Meeting to include the election of vice-chair, treasurer and secretary.

The whole day costs just £15.00, which includes a buffet lunch and is open to all, BII members or not. Tickets are available by calling Laura Janes at the BII on 01276 417825, or by e-mail laura@bii.org. ends]
